many hats

On A Personal Note….
I
have worn and still wear many hats including two of my favorites; Mom and Mimi !
I have 3 wonderful grown & married children and my 8 amazing grand-kids (6 boys and 2 girls..) are a true gift of joy!

In 1986 God called me to be a Minister of the Good News. During a women’s retreat in Salado, TX he clearly spoke to me through Isaiah 61 and fastened this scripture to my heart. The call to PROCLAIM GOOD NEWS has been a part of me ever since. In every adventure and everything I do my heart’s desire is to proclaim freedom, bind up broken hearts, comfort those that mourn and equip them to walk fully in their God given authority to expand His Kingdom here on earth. With every ‘hat’ over the years…. whether as an Ordained Minister, Chaplain, Worship Pastor, Author, Speaker, REALTOR, Teacher or Coach, He continues to infuse GOOD NEWS into everything I do !

I love to go ‘Junkin’ on the weekends to search for an old broken piece of junk that I can turn into something beautiful and useful.   I love to sing and write music and share inspirational stories about the Good News of God’s Freedom.  My own story and struggle with shame has given me a heart for young girls and women. I believe everyone has a God given purpose and a Good News Story of Hope, Grace and Freedom.  I love Jesus and love learning how to live and move and become more like Him every day!’

REAL ESTATE/ TRAINING BIO :
Licensed by Texas Real Estate Commission in 2001, Lisa quickly established herself as an area real estate expert in her local community and  received top producer awards for her sales accomplishments.   Becoming involved in the local board of REALTORS, she began serving on local and state committees including Education, Technology and Professional Standards.  Soon she discovered the benefit of building a team and found a passion for developing and training others.  This passion grew with her affiliation to long time mentor and friend Jan Agee, an industry leader in real estate training, education and professional development.   Lisa established herself in the coaching and training arena by providing new agent training as well as authoring and developing new sales training curriculum. Lisa says “I’ve learned so much from so many and especially from my time with Jan – one thing is certain – there is always something to learn and something to gain if you are open and coach-able.  Jan poured knowledge, powerful business strategies and life lessons on mindset into me daily as we worked together. She introduced me to industry leaders and national coaching figures like David Knox, and many others.  I gained such an appreciation for high level personal accountability, excellence in professional standards and staying in step with the Code of Ethics in every real estate transaction.  Maybe the greatest thing Jan taught me was being sure to always remain open to learning and keeping your client’s needs first.   My favorite Jan quote is – ‘Talent never says no to opportunity!’  “

SMALL BUSINESS COACHING BIO:
Hired as CEO of a local Keller Williams franchise in 2007, Lisa continued moving into the coaching/training role while leading hundreds of local agents into greater productivity.  She completed a series of business courses including; Franchise System Operations, Retain and Recruit Talent, Business Management, John Maxwell’s-Coaching Leadership, and several others. Lisa also launched Good News Coaching & Training in 2007 with a focus on small business and personal coaching.

I have helped small business owners launch or re-launch their business by helping them with practical and technology things like brand development, domain name, simple web design, social media strategy etc. I’ve also guided & consulted organizations to bring about greater results to the bottom line while also helping to implement changes to hire and retain great people. Whether you are developing your business into a successful national franchise or leaving a franchise to become an independent you need a coach/consultant to assist you in creating an infrastructure and define the systems to make it happen. Lisa explains “When you look at the top 1% of any industry you always find common denominators like coaching – not just one time coaching but ongoing coaching and training for every level of success. And not just one coach – most top tier professionals hire and work with multiple coaches.  I like to call them your ‘board of directors’. They can support, guide and encourage you.  If we really believe you become more like who you are surrounded by – then you most certainly want to choose that circle wisely.”

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim GOOD NEWS to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedoom to the captives. To bind up the broken hearted. To comfort all who mourn. To bestow on them the oil of joy instead of mourning and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. ” — Isaiah 61: 1-3
