Your Database IS YOUR BUSINESS.  This is probably the most vital piece to your success as an agent or business owner.

If you want to build a strong business you start with MASTERING your database. This means setting aside DAILY time to work/maintain and add to your database. So my first question is when is that time for you?

PRO TIP: Schedule this time in the morning as an appointment in your calendar to kick start your day and support your commitment to your success habits. The next step to building this new habit is PROTECTING it. This means you don’t answer emails – you send them.  You don’t usually answer calls – you make them.  It’s a hard habit to break to wake up and be ‘summoned’ to your day and just ‘go with the flow’ rather than taking charge of your day and leading your efforts with intention. I spent many years in a reactive mode to my business rather than a proactive driver/owner position. Not only is it exhausting but it also leaves you feeling unproductive at the end of the day. We need to take charge of our business in various ways. Part of my business systems coaching teaches you how to identify the gaps you maybe missing.  For instance, who you surround yourself with and how you spend your time daily will tell you a lot. People who are really ready to grow in business and in personal development will look at these two areas and be willing to make changes. They are not afraid of self evaluation and accountability in fact, they lean into them.

Knowing the TRUE value of your database will cause you to hone your time management skills. And time management is always about YOUR HABITS.  Just these two vital areas; who you surround yourself with and how you spend your time are the most overlooked, the most ignored and probably most important.
